The semiconductor and displays industry of Korea is leading global technology and solar cell industry is fast growing in 21st century. Fabrication processes for semiconductor and display devices, and nano-scale. Our research and education is focused to various micro- and nano-scale chemical process and material development both for silicon and organic devices. Current research topics include printing and all-solution process development for organic lighting and organic solar cells, plasma surface reaction and reactor design, fuel cells, electro-plating, MEMS/NEMS, dye-sensitized solar cells.

Organic Electronics Laboratory
Major Research Areas
Organic electronics laboratory develops organic materials for organic light-emitting diodes and new device structure to improve the quantum efficiency and lifetime of the organic light-emitting diodes using newly designed materials.
Development of organic materials for high efficiency organic light-emitting diodes
- Design, molecular simulation, synthesis, purification and analysis of organic charge transport and emitting materials for organic light-emitting diodes

- Development of organic materials for phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes and thermally activated delayed fluorescent organic light-emitting diodes

Development of high efficiency and long lifetime organic light-emitting diodes
- Fabrication of organic light-emitting diodes using solution and vacuum evaporation process
- Development of new device architecture to realize state of the art quantum efficiency and lifetime in phosphorescent and thermally activated delayed fluorescent devices
